Case: To Sleuth or not to sleuth?

... That is the question! ... Of course I want to sleuth all day long, but my schedule won't allow it. So, I'm making time for at least once a week to get creatively nosy and find out what happens when you ...? Thus, this week I'm looking at color - which is something I am NOT good at combining. My color combos are always out of line! So for this investigation, I went to my stash and said, "stash, speak to me!" and I literally pulled out three colors that stood out. Here they are:

Of course I had to pull all of my supplies in this #colorcue2015.

... Wow, that's awesome! I didn't even know I could pull off such a "stash call"! Who knew?! ... Now for the fun part. Seeing what I can do ... Wish me luck! I'm heading for the Gesso!

It's 2015! The Possibilites are Endless!

I learned a lot of good lessons in 2014. A big one being how to let go and be at peace with what you have! … Yes! Yes! I’m on my way!

What’s new? … Well, I’ve decided that I would approach this year exactly as I am … nosy, an inquisitive mind who wants to know! LOL! … and I am absolutely okay with that. I’m always observing, learning, taking notes, and teaching what I think about my observations and how it relates to motives. So, for this year mixed media art scrapbooking adventure, I’m on a mission! … taking my observations (good and bad) of this neighborhood canvas and putting them on paper in my journal – which has a personality of its own – Oh what and awesome journal it is! Loved, deconstructed, pages coming together day by day, with a lot of twist and turns – like any good investigation {insert super nerd smile, right here}!

It starts out with DLP2015's journal prompt: Be Your Own Goal Keeper, and the art prompt: book paper ... and here it is! The first page in my journal.

I used my walk by technique on this page, thus, the posting of this on the 8th day of the challenge. My walk by technique? Well, I take a day to day walk by the journal page I'm working on, adding layers as I go until it's done or at least at the moment it feels done. This technique works really well for me because I am always on the go.

Remember that personality I said my journal had ... well, what follows my goals' page - I mean right on the back side of it - is my Right Brain Planner, The Vellum Diary, my daily Bible study &devotionals, and my favorite random happenings page, What Had Happen Was. ...now, since I do a lot of observing, I am keeping an open mind about what pops up and calls to be added to my journal. I am sure that I will come across something that will warrant some feedback! LOL! ... Oh yes, this seems to be a good year of sharing! Until next time!

Happy New Year, Until Not
